Tymchuk announced the new development on Facebook.
The team says that the creation of the interceptor was a response to constant Russian drone attacks on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
«Every threat must have a worthy response. We have created a solution that works in advance,» the authors of the project note.
According to the developers, the «Zabachok» is designed specifically to intercept air targets. The drone’s operation algorithm consists of three stages:
— target detection;
— persecution;
— destruction of an enemy drone in the air.
In the published footage, the drone has a rather unusual body shape, which differs from classic FPV or copter solutions. Raptor Drone claims that this design is necessary for speed and maneuverability during interception.
The developers do not disclose the technical characteristics of the drone, but state that the system was created specifically for the task of combating enemy drones.
