The company’s press service reported about the personnel changes in a comment to the NV Business publication. The reasons for Onishchenko’s resignation from OLX Ukraine are not disclosed.
During Kateryna Onyshchenko’s leadership, the platform has undergone a transformation from a classic bulletin board to a full-fledged ecosystem for online trading. The newly appointed acting director, Andriy Bichuk, has been with the company for over 10 years and specializes in intellectual property and online platform regulation.
In his new position, Bichuk will focus on cooperation between the Ukrainian team and the top management of the international OLX Group, as well as on ensuring the continuity of operational activities and the safety of the team.
The OLX service is one of the largest marketplaces in the country, with a monthly audience of 23 million users in Ukraine and a staff of 215 employees. According to YouControl, in the first half of 2026, the revenue of Emarket Ukraine LLC (the developer of OLX Ukraine) increased by 5,6% and reached UAH 1.7 billion, and the company’s profit increased by almost 11% — to UAH 665.5 million.
Recall that in early September, the OLX platform presented analytics on sales of used gadgets. Most often, Ukrainians sell smartphones, laptops and consoles. According to data as of July 2026, the absolute leader among used devices is smartphones — almost 9 out of 10 mobile devices on the site have already been used. This is about 75,000 active ads, which is 89,9% of the entire category.
