A series of free hackathons will start in August for engineers, technical students, scientists, startups, and developers who work or want to work in the miltech field.
" Krana Engineers " is the largest geographical event in Ukraine for military developers, which starts on August 2 in Uzhhorod. The hackathons are organized by Lobby X, the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, and the Technological Forces of Ukraine.
The event will cover 7 cities in Ukraine — Uzhhorod, Ternopil, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Poltava, and Dnipro — and will last from August to October 2025.
Developers or even idea owners in the fields of autonomization, communications, mechatronics, radio communications, energy and power supply, or aircraft design are invited to participate.
Participants who already have projects or working prototypes will be able to receive funding of up to $100,000, production or expert support to bring their solutions to combat effectiveness.

Participants and idea carriers will also be able to be placed in existing military projects to scale them up and strengthen areas based on requests from the front.
