Kharkiv students took first place at the international programming competition IEEEXtreme 19.0
A student team from Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics won the prestigious international programming competition IEEEXtreme 19.0. This year, more than 9,000 teams from different countries around the world competed.

IEEEXtreme is one of the largest student IT championships in the world, held under the auspices of IEEE, the largest international organization of engineers and developers. The competition lasts 24 hours continuously and brings together thousands of participants from over 70 countries every year.
Participants solve complex algorithmic problems in real time, demonstrating programming skills, teamwork, and stress resistance.

According to the results of the competition, the KoRoVaI team from Kharkiv showed the best result among thousands of participants, beating teams from leading universities in the world.
According to the IEEEXtreme website, the first place prize includes travel expenses to any IEEE conference of their choice anywhere in the world.
Teams from Ukraine were among the top five winners of the IEEEXtreme 17 programming competition, which was attended by students from 69 countries around the world.
