From December 30 to January 1, 2025, the resources of the oil company Lukoil, which supplies the occupation forces, were under attack. Its digital resources were affected, LIGA.net reports, citing a source in military intelligence.
As a result of the attack, Russians who were Lukoil customers were unable to pay at gas stations via the mobile app.
The digital resources of Evotor smart terminals (website; user account; mobile application, cash payment system) and the unified digital labeling system of goods «Chestny Znak» were also attacked.
«The DDOS attack caused significant inconvenience and losses in the trade sector, as consumers were unable to purchase goods due to disruptions in payment systems. The level of dissatisfaction among consumers and service providers was exacerbated by the fact that the DDOS attack occurred during the holiday period,» the intelligence source noted.
