On the night of August 16, after a massive drone attack in the Moscow region, a warehouse of the Russian marketplace Wildberries caught fire in the village of Koledino near Podolsk. Local authorities and Russian media reported the fire.
Koledino is one of Wildberries' largest logistics complexes. Its area is estimated by various sources to be approximately 250,000 m². The complex is used for storage, sorting, and distribution of marketplace goods.
This is not the first attack on Wildberries' logistics network. Since mid-July, the company’s Russian warehouses in various regions of the Russian Federation have been regularly hit. According to Russian sources, previous attacks have damaged the company’s warehouse facilities, and experts estimate the total damage at hundreds of billions of rubles.
In July, Koledino was already under attack, but then Wildberries itself stated that the logistics complex continued to operate normally.
This time, the scale of the fire is much larger: videos from the scene show thick smoke and flames throughout the complex. Russian authorities reported that warehouse workers were evacuated to shelters and there were no injuries.
At the same time, there is currently no information about the complete destruction of the hub, the loss of all its warehouse space, or the specific amount of Wildberries' losses.
The attack took place against the backdrop of a large-scale campaign against Wildberries' logistics infrastructure: its facilities in various regions of Russia were previously hit.
In addition, yesterday, the Ukrainian independent cyber community Cyber Corps attacked the digital infrastructure of the Russian marketplace Wildberries.
