«My career began with the beginning of the Internet, when I was only 20. It was the beginning of the information revolution. When I started, we didn’t know what email was yet. My second phase is the transition to mobile technologies, people are switching to 24/7 communication. And now the third phase is the transition to AI. I was lucky that as an entrepreneur I worked in these three eras, and of course, the revolutions that we went through, they, as a rule, had a 90% positive impact and 10% negative,» Sasha Michaud quotes NV. He also commented on the role AI plays in the company at this stage and what business processes it can improve.
«We are currently processing 10 orders per second. The faster we process orders, the more profit we make. We use AI in our internal tools, and our IT infrastructures rely heavily on AI to optimize them. Also, analytical, strategic tools, coding — that’s all where we use it. We just have to accept AI with the positive and negative effects it creates,» shared the Glovo co-founder.
In his opinion, when it comes to regulating AI, those countries that are faster to adopt this regulation, which will promote the use of AI, will be more successful.
He also added that many Ukrainians work in the Glovo team.
«We have many Ukrainians working in the team. The regional director in Africa, and we currently work in six countries, is a Ukrainian. We also have Ukrainians working in the office in Barcelona. We have a representative office in Kyiv, and we have two offices in Ukraine,» Michaud said.
