«Kyivstar, like other operators around the world, is gradually phasing out outdated 3G technology in order to more actively develop 4G. The results of disabling the technology are a significant increase in 4G speed by an average of 62%», — the company notes.
It was previously reported that over the course of 2 years, Kyivstar has conducted testing of the 2100 MHz radio frequency spectrum in 29 cities, the results of which showed that the speed and quality of 4G mobile Internet significantly increased — by an average of 40%.
