IT product company Futurra Group has moved its flagship MusesAcademy app to its own video production studio. The team is abandoning the model of working with external studios to launch new courses faster and better control the quality of content for women on relationships, self-development, and parenting.
As the company reported in a press release, the main MusesAcademy training programs are now filmed by an internal team at professional venues. This allows for quick re-recording of individual fragments, creation of several lesson options, immediate testing of format and tone, and maintenance of a single style of video and sound in the application. External contractors are planned to be engaged on a case-by-case basis, for experiments and individual special projects.
By having their own production team, the team gains full control over the image: from the choice of studio and lighting to the dynamics of the shots. Inside Futurra, they emphasize that this approach is more profitable in the long run than constant filming «on the side»: the video can be finalized without being tied to the schedules of external studios, and the budget can be directed to the development of the courses themselves.
The first results are already visible in the metrics. Two courses have been filmed under the new production scheme: on parenting and on building harmonious relationships. The company notes that the average rating of these programs in the application has increased by 7%, and the share of users who complete the lessons has increased by 15%.
Each course goes through a full cycle within MusesAcademy: researching the topic, structuring the material, writing the script, filming with actors, editing and adapting to the vertical format of a smartphone. The script incorporates modern approaches to psychology and coaching, references current research, and combines theory with practical exercises so that users can apply knowledge in everyday situations.
The next stage will be to translate most of the basic and in-depth materials of the application into videos and gradually build a recognizable visual style of MusesAcademy. The team plans to focus on audience behavior: duration of videos, frequency of returns, reactions to different presentations of topics.
MusesAcademy is one of Futurra Group’s key products. It is an educational app for women that helps them work on self-esteem, relationships, motherhood, and personal goals. According to the company, the product is showing a stable multiple growth in users in 2025 compared to 2024 and is already operating in hundreds of markets around the world.
