The iOS, Android, Golang, and PHP categories led the way in terms of competition growth, with reviews jumping 40–45%. This is significantly higher than the market average of just 8%, according to Djinni.

There is a decline in candidate activity in the Sysadmin and Java categories. It is noteworthy that just last month, Java was on the list of areas with the highest competition.
Overall, the number of new job postings on Djinni decreased by 1,217 in April compared to March, to 11,134. This decrease is partly explained by the fewer working days due to the Easter holidays.
The most resilient categories to the decline were Golang and Data Science, while Data Engineer and Business Analyst even showed growth despite the general trend. At the same time, the market significantly “sagged” for recruiters and developers in the fields of PHP, JavaScript and iOS - the number of job offers in these categories decreased by more than 25%.
