«We also have a unit that deals with UAVs. We have several samples that have already been tested», — noted Dmitry from Trinity Robotics in an interview with Army.Inform.
He said that Trinity Robotics has developed a kamikaze drone that can carry one anti-tank mine (ATM). Dmytro says that the warhead can be anything — the cover on the drone changes to fit a specific munition.
«This ground drone can also work on fiber optics if the terrain is very rugged. Because the signal is lost on the ground. And with fiber optics, this problem no longer exists», — says a company representative.
According to him, this kamikaze drone has a range of up to 10 km, a speed with a load of up to 17 km/h. It can withstand an angle of up to 40 degrees when overturning and can turn all 4 wheels independently of each other.
Dmytro noted that in some cases, a ground drone can hit enemy cover better than a UAV. «After talking with the military, we came to the conclusion that such a ground drone can be actively used, because it can carry a fairly large load in the form of explosives and can destroy a small structure,» he said.
Trinity Robotics also produces the KONYK ONE logistics evacuation platform, which has a soft suspension for the wounded and can carry a weight of over 300 kilograms. It is powered by electric motors and has a range of up to 40 km and a speed of up to 20 km/h.
«We are also currently communicating with turret manufacturers to install the turret inside. That is, there will be a lot of its applications for different directions. In general, anything can be here. In particular, there can even be a catapult here to launch UAVs on the wing. And this is also so as not to risk people on the front line», — said Dmytro.
Recall that last fall, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved the delivery of the Fochtas unmanned logistics and evacuation transporter to the Armed Forces. It is distinguished by its almost silent operation and low silhouette (up to 40 cm), which allows for unobtrusive evacuation in the field. The transporter is capable of transporting up to 150 kg of cargo, including wounded people in full combat gear or ammunition.
In February 2025, an interesting kamikaze drone with anti-tank mines instead of wheels was spotted at the Defense Tech Innovations Forum exhibition, created by engineers from the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
