This became known from information from Diia.City Union, which was shared by representatives of the business community after a meeting with the Ministry of Economy; reports kadroland.com.
It is planned to involve representatives of the economic bloc, the security and defense sector, basic ministries, as well as intelligence and other state bodies in the work of the coordination center.
According to the previous scheme, confirmation of the status of a critical enterprise will have several stages:
That is, legally the final decision remains with the authorized body, but in fact the position of the coordination center becomes decisive.
At the moment, we are not talking about officially approved changes, but about plans announced during a meeting of business representatives with the Ministry of Economy.
The formal criteria — salary level, tax and other indicators — remain unchanged. However, the company will be additionally inspected by representatives of state and law enforcement agencies within the center, analyzing, in particular:
The Ministry of Economy noted that the center’s task is not to massively reject bona fide companies: they plan to let enterprises with real activities, paid taxes, and a clear staff pass without complications, and if there are any recoverable shortcomings, provide an opportunity to correct them.
The government’s task is to pass all enterprises that already have the status of critical through the coordination center by September 1, 2026. This also applies to those companies that have recently confirmed their status according to new criteria: it is not yet known whether they will have to undergo a re-verification through the center or whether the relevant ministries themselves will transfer the documents there.
If the proposed mechanism is implemented, the procedure for confirming the status of a critical enterprise will become multi-level — in addition to checking formal criteria, companies will undergo additional analysis with the participation of representatives of state and law enforcement agencies.
