On July 1, 2025 at 10:10 p.m. at the Shehyny international checkpoint for automobile traffic at the entrance to Ukraine from the Republic of Poland, during border control, a person was detected who presented a Canadian passport for travel abroad. During the process of checking documents and interviewing the person, it turned out that the programmer also has a Ukrainian passport for travel abroad.
By his actions, the programmer attempted to cross the state border of Ukraine at a checkpoint across the state border of Ukraine without appropriate documents.

The court found him guilty of illegally crossing or attempting to illegally cross the state border and imposed a fine of UAH 3,400. The AI member must also pay a court fee of UAH 605.60 to the state.
The resolution can be appealed directly to the Lviv Court of Appeal within ten days from the date of the resolution.
