We will provide a transition period for those who are already in crypto. We are still agreeing on the details. The Ministry of Finance is against it for now, but the potential is there. The regulator is the National Bank,» he wrote on Telegram following the results of the New Economy event.
The People’s Deputy reported that the first reading of the bill on the legalization of cryptocurrency should take place in the first quarter, and the second — immediately after the first vote in the Rada.
«We will do everything possible to have this law passed at least by the summer of this year,» he said .
At the same time, he added that there will be no preferential taxation for cryptocurrencies.
