KSE University enrolls first students in new engineering program supported by Fire Point

The first group of students in the bachelor's program "Innovative Production Engineering" created in collaboration with the technology company Fire Point has begun studies at KSE University. The course includes 21 students.

The average competitive score of the applicants was 191.82, with 15 out of 21 students scoring over 190. And although ten of them will study on a budget basis and eleven on a contract basis, absolutely all 21 students received full academic grants from Fire Point, which cover the cost of tuition, accommodation, meals and provide a monthly scholarship of 800 euros, DOU reports .

The search for future engineers began in the spring: the team visited specialized lyceums, talked to schoolchildren, and recruited participants in subject Olympiads. To receive a grant, candidates took internal exams in mathematics and physics, developed by Fire Point specialists, and also underwent interviews with representatives of the company and KSE.

"Now the task of KSE and Fire Point is to give them knowledge, practice, and mentorship so that their ideas become engineering solutions," emphasized KSE University Rector Tymofiy Brik.

The program focuses on combining fundamental science and practical innovation. Students will master physics, mathematics and aerodynamics; mechatronics and robotics; computer modeling and intelligent manufacturing systems (including the application of AI in engineering).

The educational process involves a full development cycle - from calculations and drawings to the creation and testing of their own prototypes. Starting from the second year, students will work on real engineering tasks directly at the Fire Point enterprise under the guidance of the company's mentors.
