KSE launches the first AI agent architect training program in Ukraine: how to participate
Kyiv School of Economics is opening a call for applications for the KSE Agentic AI Summer School , a ten-week program on the development of autonomous AI agents for mathematically strong 11th graders, school graduates, students, and engineers. This program trains the first generation of AI agent architects in Ukraine. Participation is free of charge: selected participants will receive a scholarship equivalent to $600 per month and accommodation for the period of study in Kyiv.
KSE Agentic AI Summer School is the first program in Ukraine to train a generation of AI architects and engineers - an engineering center where selected students work on real tasks on the platform, not on slides, all summer.
The key principle of the program is learning through problem-solving, not through passive learning of the material. The very first task invites students to independently find a way to interact with the model and understand its limitations: to create a program that can exhaust its context window, without step-by-step instructions or ready-made solutions. Each subsequent stage ends with the creation of a practical result - an agent or tool placed on a common platform. It can be tested by other program participants or used by people for whom this task has real value. Thus, learning is measured not by the number of lectures listened to, but by the ability to create solutions that work in real conditions.
Format — offline: 10 weeks of training, 4 practical cycles of hypothesis testing and product creation, 2 weeks of intensive training in Kyiv, Demo Day. The program is based on fundamental knowledge of mathematics and computer science, supplemented by practice working with agent systems on real cases. This approach allows you to form engineering thinking through creating solutions, and not through isolated mastery of individual AI tools or programming languages.
The KSE Agentic AI Summer School concludes with a Demo Day with presentations of team solutions, demonstration sessions, and open discussions with potential users. They provide the final assessment: which AI agents and systems have practical value, which tasks they solve best, and which solutions they would be willing to actually use.
What does a participant of the KSE Agentic AI Summer School receive?
Direct access to GPU infrastructure and agent runtime to run full-fledged models.
Scholarship.
Accommodation for participants not from Kyiv.
Practice with a mentor.
Real tasks from partner organizations.
Participation in Demo Day in front of technical teams, partners and real users of the proposed solutions.
Certificate based on the results of the final project defense.
Languages of instruction: Ukrainian and English.
Who can apply?
The program is open to participants:
11th grade students and school graduates.
Math, CS, physics, and engineering students are the ones who want to build real-world agents, not take another AI review course.
Students of economics, business, and public policy are those who understand that an AI-native approach is becoming the standard for any management position, and are looking for a specific career lever: being able to manage agents, not just use them.
Engineers and physicists with a motivation to build systems of defense or civilian strategic importance — those who want to direct technical knowledge to tasks that have a real impact now: drone-on-drone, swarm algorithms, predictive analytics for front-line systems.
"The ideal candidate for the program is a person who is used to thinking in a formal system. Not necessarily a programmer. A mathematician, physicist, engineer, analyst, sometimes an economist or lawyer who has been working with data for years. Someone who, upon seeing a task, does not ask "how to do it", but begins to analyze it. Independence is the main selection filter for the KSE Agentic AI Summer School program," KSE said.
How to apply
Applications are accepted until June 20, 2026 via the application form on the program website .
“What an adult can’t do in the middle of winter, a child essentially did with me and the GPT chat in half an hour.” Mylovanov told how AI transformed workflows at KSE, and what the future holds for education
KSE bought the Kyiv Golf Club in the capital's Obolon for $18 million. Now engineers, mathematicians, psychologists and urban planners will be trained here
