Prometheus announced 5 new free courses from the world's most popular Python expert and the University of Illinois

As reported in the press release, registration is currently open for courses from the University of Illinois and the world’s most popular Python expert, Charles Severance (Dr. Chuck):

• Python for databases.
• Python for the web.
• A revolution in digital marketing.
• Marketing in the digital world.
• Basics of project management: implementation and control of the project.

«Education changes life. If you can learn Python at the age of 73, then the younger generations should definitely take it as a rule!», — said Leonid Semenovych Kuzmuk, a student of the «Python: Data Structures» course from the first launch of the World University.

Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi also spoke about the project.

What is «World University»

The project was implemented by the professional development platform Prometheus with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine and in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It combines the experience of Prometheus and the best world universities to create a unique educational system for Ukrainians.

For three years, starting in the fall of 2023, Prometheus will translate and provide free access to 50 of the world’s top online courses from universities. The project includes courses from Harvard, MIT, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Illinois, University of California and others.

According to the platform, after the launch of the World University on Prometheus, more than 150,000 Ukrainians joined the study. Listeners had the opportunity to study for free in the first 10 of 50 courses from the world’s leading universities in the Ukrainian language.

Among them, stand out:

• «CS50: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence with Python» from Harvard University is from the legendary CS50 course series.
• «Programming for Everyone: Python Basics» is the world’s most popular programming basics course, and» Python: Data Structures» from the University of Michigan.
• «Basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Programming» and «Java Programming: Software» from Duke University.
• Digital Media and Marketing Fundamentals, Digital Media and Marketing Strategies, and Corporate Finance Fundamentals from the University of Illinois.
• «Basics of Project Management» from the University of California, Irvine.
• «Psychological First Aid» from Johns Hopkins University.
