All assets, rights, and obligations of the provider will be transferred to Kyivstar. The company explains that it wants to simplify the corporate structure and eliminate duplication of some administrative and operational processes.
For subscribers, the transition should take place automatically. There will be no need to re-sign contracts, and the tariff, speed and cost of the Internet at the time of the transition will remain unchanged. Kyivstar will also transfer payments, overpayments and other charges to customers
Only payment details and support service will change. From October 1, you will need to pay to Kyivstar, and contact its contact center. MEGOGO, which was available within the LanTrace tariffs, will also become unavailable after the transition. Instead, some users will be offered Kyivstar TV.
Earlier, dev.ua wrote that Kyivstar acquired Kirovohrad-based Internet provider Shtorm, which serves over 50,000 subscribers. In March, the operator revealed the value of the deal — UAH 420 million. Kyivstar CEO Oleksandr Komarov explained then that the purchase of regional providers is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its position in the fixed Internet market.
