Ukraine’s largest mobile operator Kyivstar, which has plans to enter the Nasdaq stock exchange, is eyeing a new asset after investing in Helsi and a still- unfinished deal to acquire taxi service Uklon. This time, the company is interested in buying medicine booking service Tabletki.ua.

According to Forbes, back in November 2024, Kyivstar submitted an application to the Antimonopoly Committee (AMCU) to purchase the online medicine booking service Tabletki.ua. On November 29, 2024, the Committee returned it because it did not meet the requirements of the Regulation on the procedure for considering applications and cases on the concentration of business entities, the AMCU noted. As of February 6, no repeated request had been received from Kyivstar. However, the AMCU received an application to acquire LLC MTPK, which owns the Tabletki trademark and is the main legal entity of the company.
Kyivstar may submit a repeat application in the near future, an interlocutor close to the deal told Forbes Ukraine on January 31.
The current price of Tabletki.ua could be $30-80 million, according to the assessment of the analytical department of Forbes Ukraine.
Tabletki.ua is a website and application where you can find and reserve medications at a specific pharmacy, and then buy them at a retail outlet. It was founded in 2015 by brothers Oleksandr and Yevhen Muravshchyki. The service for 10 million users was built by the Muravshchyki family with partners.
The Muravshchyk family collectively owns 56% of MTPK LLC. Oleksandr and Natalia Muravshchyk each own 23%. Yevhen Muravshchyk owns another 10%. Yuriy Savchyn owns 20%, Volodymyr Osmachko 15%, and Vadym Rohatynskyi 9%.
In 2024, 12,000 retail outlets cooperated with Tabletki.ua. This is almost 70% of the country’s entire pharmaceutical retail. In 2023, pharmacies sold medicines worth UAH 25 billion using the Tabletki.ua service. The service earns 2% commission on each sale.
The revenue of LLC «MTPK» for the first 9 months of 2024 was UAH 517 million, according to YouControl data. This is 88% more than for the same period in 2023.
