Mobile operator Kyivstar has joined the «White Business Club» — a register of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with the law. The company meets the criteria of the State Tax Service regarding the level of tax and wage payment.
This is stated in the Kyivstar press release.
«We adhere to the principles of openness and responsible business conduct… It is important for us to contribute to the formation of a transparent business environment and strengthening the partnership between the state and business,» said Kyivstar President Oleksandr Komarov.
He also added that the operator works according to international compliance standards, as it is part of an international group whose shares are traded on the American NASDAQ stock exchange.
According to the company, the total amount of taxes and fees paid by Kyivstar during the four years of the full-scale war exceeded UAH 49.8 billion. The operator notes that this is the largest figure in the telecommunications industry of Ukraine.
In addition, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the company has allocated UAH 43.2 billion to restore damaged equipment and modernize communications infrastructure.
The initiative «Territory of High Tax Confidence» is coordinated by the State Tax Service of Ukraine. The register includes enterprises that have no tax debt, and tax payment indicators and labor remuneration levels exceed the average values in the relevant industry. The updated list of participants will be published on the State Tax Service web portal on June 18.
Recall that in April 2026 , the number of participants in the «White Business Club» reached almost 9,000. In the overall structure of the «Club», the «Information and Telecommunications» sector accounted for 7% of the total number of companies. The leaders in terms of the number of companies remain trade (21%) and the agricultural sector (20%).
