The Lasar’s Group unit of the National Guard of Ukraine has officially crossed the $14 billion mark in cumulative damage inflicted on Russian military equipment. The new record was set after a successful night operation on April 30, during which drone operators struck the occupiers' scarce air defenses.

The Lasar’s Group’s message on social media notes that the effectiveness of the strike UAVs has significantly exceeded previous indicators.
«In 2022, at the dawn of the creation of the Lazari division, they could not even think about such figures. Then the first billion dollars seemed incredible. Now it is 14 times more,» the post says.
The success of the operation was made possible thanks to coordination with other branches of the Defense Forces, in particular the Air Force, the SBU «Alpha» units, and the relevant ministries that ensure the development of unmanned technologies.
Lasar’s Group is one of the key units of the NGU, specializing in the use of high-tech means of destruction. It has a full cycle of design and production of drones, as well as ammunition for them. The commander of this unit is Colonel of the National Guard of Ukraine Pavlo «Lazar» Yelizarov, who was a producer before the large-scale invasion.
In a recent interview, Elizarov said that modern models of interceptor drones are already capable of speeds of up to 700 km/h. In terms of their characteristics, they actually become analogues of cruise missiles.
