On November 16, the Ukrainian game will leave the game subscription service, a year after its appearance on the Microsoft gaming service.
GSC Game World's exclusive collaboration with Microsoft is coming to an end. STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl is leaving the Game Pass subscription and is actively preparing for its release on PlayStation 5 — the main competitor in the gaming market, lest the company's executives talk about Tik-Tok there.
The Ukrainian cult game about the post-apocalyptic Exclusion Zone can be played until November 16. In addition to it, Frostpunk, Football Manager 2024, Blacksmith Master, and Spirittea will be removed from the subscription.
In the year since its release, STALKER 2 has received both a lot of criticism due to its poor technical condition at release, as well as major updates that significantly improve the game's performance and add new content.
In particular, in patch 1.6, called "Night Hunter", the developers added the long-awaited night vision devices, as well as new quests. Currently, the game has a roadmap with updates until the end of the year, and two story expansions are also in development.
We remind you that in Ukraine only Game Pass for PC is available, the cost of which is 290 UAH (the price takes into account the recent increase in the price of Microsoft game subscriptions worldwide).
In particular, the price of the highest tier of Ultimate subscription increased by 50% for some regions, which caused a mass cancellation of subscriptions by gamers.
