According to him, the building also houses the Telecommunications Services Center and the Information Technology and Technical Support Center. However, it is not yet known how seriously the telecommunications infrastructure was damaged and whether subscribers were left without communication.
Lugacom appeared in 2015 after the occupation of part of Luhansk Oblast. To create its network, the occupiers used the equipment of the Ukrainian Kyivstar, which they seized in territory not controlled by Ukraine. Lugacom currently provides mobile communication, Internet access, and data transmission services in the occupied Luhansk Oblast.
