The Lviv IT cluster raised UAH 9.5 million to restore a building at 46 Konovaltsya Street in Lviv, which was damaged by a Russian attack last year.
According to the press service of the Lviv City Council, as of today, the work on restoring the building is in the final stage.
«As of now, the following have already been completed: repair of roof structures, replacement of the roof, replacement of the drainage system, strengthening of the building’s load-bearing elements with metal belts and brackets… Work is underway to insulate the external walls, decorate the facade and decorative elements, replace the canopies and waterproof the balconies. And at the final stage of work on improving the territory — laying paving stones at the entrance and around the house, decorating the staircase,» the Lviv IT Cluster noted.
In addition to the Lviv IT Cluster Charitable Foundation and some of its participating companies, Kormotech and Enzym Group also contributed to financing the reconstruction of the building.
We will remind you that on September 4, 2024, the enemy carried out a combined attack on Lviv with rockets and mortars. Due to the large amount of destruction, the Lviv City Council announced the initiative «Take a House Under Care» to eliminate the consequences of the rocket attacks, within the framework of which private enterprises and charitable organizations were offered to repair one of the 20 most damaged houses.
The total amount of funds that were raised for the renovation of houses within the campaign amounted to almost UAH 71.5 million.
