According to Bloomberg, the virtual assistant independently processed inquiries from more than 130 investors and helped the team prepare dozens of investment memorandums. As a result, Lyzr received preliminary offers and investment interest worth $400 million from funds in Silicon Valley, the Middle East and representatives of the financial sector.
Lyz, which was valued at $250 million in a Series A round earlier this year, is showing rapid growth, with revenue growing by more than 250% in each of the last three quarters. The developers position their product as an «agent factory in a box.» The platform allows companies to deploy autonomous AI systems directly on their own infrastructure, completely eliminating the possibility of sensitive data leaking outside the corporate perimeter.
During the funding round, the AI agent not only answered investors’ questions about the product’s positioning, competitors, and business model, but also analyzed their engagement. The algorithm tracked which sections of the presentation venture capitalists spent the most time on and where they clicked. Among the funds interested was the Atlanta-based Open Opportunity Fund, founded with the backing of SoftBank Group Corp.
«This has significantly accelerated the funding process. Once trained on relevant data, AI can take over a huge portion of the routine work,» said Lyzr co-founder Siva Surendira. He also added that the company plans to open source the tool, which was developed by an engineering team in Bangalore.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said earlier that his software engineers are excited about how AI technologies are transforming their daily work. Instead of writing traditional code, he said, they are increasingly focusing on developing autonomous AI agents that take on routine tasks.
