As a result of a massive Russian missile strike on Kyiv on the night of September 8, an office center in the Holosiivskyi district, where the Ukrainian IT company Maklai is based, was damaged. None of the company's employees were injured.
DOU reports on the destruction of the workspace, citing a comment from team representatives.
According to IT workers, the epicenter of the explosion was located near the building. A powerful blast wave broke out some of the windows on the lower and middle floors of the office center, as well as on the landings. Directly in the Maklai office itself, window frames were deformed and part of the ceiling collapsed.
This is the second such incident to hit their workspace since the full-scale invasion began. The building was previously damaged on January 28, when a Russian strike on a neighboring building also shattered glass.
On the night of September 8, the Russian armed forces carried out another large-scale attack on the Ukrainian capital, using ballistic weapons. The destruction of residential and non-residential buildings, including one educational institution, was recorded in at least five districts of Kyiv. As of this morning, rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the attack: 12 injured and two dead citizens are known. In total, during the night, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 175 enemy air targets throughout the country.
