A Russian missile strike claimed the life of SKIFTECH Product Manager Vlad Malyarchuk. The team announced his death on Instagram.
For several days after the attack, colleagues waited for good news, called, wrote, and searched for any information about Vlad. However, he was killed.
«Until the last moment, we believed that a miracle would happen and Vlad would return. Unfortunately, this did not happen,» SKIFTECH wrote.
Almost a year ago, Malyarchuk returned to Ukraine after many years living in Norway. According to colleagues, he consciously decided to return to help his country.
After returning, he joined SKIFTECH, where he was involved in creating technologies for training the Ukrainian military. He participated in the implementation of drone simulators with a reset and a kamikaze drone. Recently, he has been working on a project for an interceptor drone simulator.
SKIFTECH says that for Malyarchuk, this work was not just a profession. He participated in tests, demonstrations and meetings with the military, listened to their experience and tried to improve the company’s developments. «He always went where he could be useful,» colleagues noted. Vlad believed that high-quality training of the military helps save lives.
On the day of his death, he was at a practical event for this very purpose. This trip was his last. «We lost not only a highly qualified specialist, but also a kind, bright and caring person, with whom we wanted to work. A friend, whom we respected, trusted and sincerely appreciated,» the company wrote.
SKIFTECH reported that Vlad has already passed away. The team expressed its condolences to his family, loved ones and friends and noted that it will support his relatives. «His work, dedication and contribution to the development of our solutions will forever remain a part of SKIFTECH’s history,» the statement said.
