A new feature has been launched in the monobank children's app — the "Ask parents for money" button. Thanks to the update, children can send their parents notifications indicating the required amount and a comment.
This was announced by the co-founder of monobank, Oleg Horohovsky.
According to Gorohovsky, previously, a child had to personally contact their parents and explain their needs. Now the process is automated: the child presses a button in the application, indicates the amount and adds a text comment. After that, the parents receive a push notification and can transfer the funds or reject the request.
The introduced feature has several limits. In particular, parents have 24 hours to review the request, and a child can send no more than 5 requests per day to avoid abuse.
“It seems like pocket money has never been so convenient,” added the neobank co-founder.
The monobank children's card is aimed at users under the age of 14. It allows parents to control their child's spending, set limits on certain categories of goods and cash withdrawals, and teach children the basics of financial literacy through a mobile application.
