This is reported by "Military". Such changes were the result of negotiations between delegations from Ukraine and the United States in Saudi Arabia on March 11, 2025.
Recall that last week, Maxar cut off Ukraine's access to its satellite imagery as a result of the US government's ban on providing Ukraine with intelligence data. This meant free access to government and private users under the GEGD program, but paid services remained available.
As Forbes Ukraine reported, the official distributor of Maxar in Ukraine is the company Tvis, which provided access to satellite images to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, and the State Geodetic Cartographic Service of Ukraine.
Maxar images are of high resolution, which in some cases can be very critical. Photos of night damage could be obtained in the morning or at lunchtime. This was told to Forbes Ukraine by Marat Utyushev, the former head of the Innovation Center of the Ministry of Defense.
