One of the key changes was the new weight range — from 2 to 5 kg, which is now highlighted separately.
"Such parcels are among the most common on the market, so detailing them will allow us to more accurately calculate the cost of delivery and optimize costs for senders," the company explains.
Meest Post also increased the amount of included insurance from UAH 200 to UAH 500. This means that most standard shipments are automatically covered at no additional cost.
In addition, the company has introduced a separate tariff for delivery within one regional center. At the same time, delivery to settlements within the urban agglomeration is now priced on the same terms as delivery within the city itself - without additional surcharges.
A separate tariff schedule is also provided for delivery via post machines, so that users can choose the most convenient method of sending and receiving parcels.
"We are updating the tariff model to adapt it to the real structure of shipments. The detailing of weight categories and updated delivery conditions in cities and suburbs will allow customers to plan costs more accurately and generally make postal and logistics services more predictable," the company notes.
