MegogoBooks plans to launch a mobile app and deliver to the US
In December 2024, MEGOGO opened the online bookstore MegogoBooks. In just six months, it managed to sell over 100,000 books. The online bookstore has also entered the markets of 15 European countries and is now planning to deliver to the USA.

Since its launch, the MegogoBooks team has grown and moved to a separate office from the parent company. It now employs approximately 30 people.
When the service was launched, the site had approximately 10,000 books and 100 publishers. Now there are over 200 publishers (this is the number of all active publishers on the market) and almost 17,000 book titles. The site also has 1.8 million unique users and covers 3,000 settlements.
"We now have our main warehouse. Our partner in this is Nova Poshta. This allows us to shorten the distance between the user and the book. We have built many processes in such a way that the book is packed and leaves the warehouse very quickly. This is our value that we work with," said Kateryna Kotvitska, CCO of MegogoBooks, in an interview with AIN.
Kotvitska is not sure whether the service will be able to pay for itself in two years. Currently, all the money from sales is invested in advertising, people, and new products.
One of the focuses for the near future is work on a mobile application.
“We have already started doing this and want to close the request for book content in any format,” says the service’s CCO.
In addition, the company wants to enter the US market.
“We are talking about this with Nova Poshta. As soon as we complete the first stage — European countries, and get the first results, we will move on,” Kotvitska notes.
She adds that the US has different customs rules, but they are in the book industry's favor and are quite attractive. The company has demand not only for B2C delivery, but also for B2B, since many small bookstores are concentrated in the States as well.
At the same time, the company does not plan to build its own publishing house or open offline bookstores.
