«We officially declare: the company has no relation to this product, these statements are not confirmed by any document and are not based on proper evidence. No court verdict has established the facts of smuggling by the Yabko chain of stores. There are also no court decisions that would confirm the publicly voiced accusations,» the company noted in its comment on this matter.
The network emphasized that publicly identifying assumptions or individual episodes of detentions with the activities of a specific company without an established legal connection and procedural decisions is manipulative and harms business reputation.
In addition, the Yabko chain of stores shared data on taxes paid in this context, noting that it carries out independent official import of products with full customs clearance.
Thus, according to the data provided by the company, the turnover of officially cleared products is about UAH 1,680.55 million (excluding VAT), and taxes paid upon import (VAT + customs duties) are over UAH 332.4 million.
The network also asked Danylo Hetmantsev to publish confirmation of the public accusations and relevant documents.
Recall that yesterday the State Customs Service reported the detention at the border of a bus with 829 Apple devices hidden under the floor. The head of the Finance Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Danylo Getmantsev, commented on this issue, noting that this contraband was imported for the Yabko chain.
