"Even in a car": Russians can place MESH repeater for UAVs almost anywhere — "Flash"

The Russian military may place mesh repeaters for drones in small rooms or even cars, said Sergey “Flash” Beskrestnov, the presidential adviser on defense technology.

According to him, such repeaters are small in size, so their deployment does not require special infrastructure.

“Anywhere, even in a car, a mesh repeater for UAVs can be assembled, which the enemy uses to adjust strikes,” Beskrestnov noted.

He explained that for such equipment to work, the enemy only needs to provide it with the Internet and power.

"They’re pretty small in size. All the enemy needs is to give them internet, power, and everything will work," said "The Flash."

A mesh network allows data to be transmitted between its nodes, so a repeater can be used to ensure communication between drones and the network and transmit information over a distance.

Previously, "Flash" claimed that several hidden Russian radio transmitters may be operating in Kyiv. According to his version, they are briefly turned on during attacks to provide an online control channel for the "Shaheds."
