Meta AI has a unique feature: a “public feed,” where users can post their private conversations with Meta AI for public viewing, much like on social media. Users have begun sharing their interactions with the AI , not realizing that this makes voice and text chats visible to everyone.
Apparently, the company has responded to the recent negativity surrounding their app and now, before publicly sharing your interactions with Meta AI, you can see a warning: “The tips you post are public and visible to everyone. Your tips may be suggested by Meta in other Meta apps. Avoid sharing personal or confidential information.”
But such a message seems to appear only during the first distribution, writes Engadget.
Additionally, the app's public feed also no longer contains text messages shared by other users, but only images and videos generated by artificial intelligence.
It is not yet clear whether this is a permanent change or a result of the recent negative attention the app has received.
If you have made your chatbot conversation public, you can delete it. You need to click on your profile in the upper right corner of the application. Then go to the section "Data & Privacy -> Manage your information -> Make all public prompts visible only to you. Then select "apply to all."
