Mark Zuckerberg's company has announced new changes to the way video content is created on Facebook. In the coming months, all videos on Facebook will be published as reels, and uploading them as just videos will no longer be available. The reels themselves will have no restrictions on length or format (currently, reels on Facebook are limited to 90 seconds).

Previously, users would upload videos to their feed or publish reels using different tools for each format. Now Meta is combining these capabilities with a simplified publishing process. The company says that users will have greater control over who can see your content.
“You still control who sees your reels and will have access to the same audience settings and controls as before, so you can share them with just your friends or a select group of people if you want. You can also publish your reel as public for greater reach, which will help you expand your views and audience,” Meta said.
Meta will gradually roll out these changes globally to profiles and pages over the coming months.
The company also began warning users of its AI app to "avoid sharing personal or confidential information" after private conversations between users and a chatbot from the app's public feed began appearing on social media.
