While Bluesky is gaining popularity, Meta has released the daily active user count for Threads for the first time.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that Threads has over 100 million daily active users, The Verge reports .
Bluesky claims that the platform currently has just over 25 million users. Zuckerberg shared that Threads has over 300 million monthly active users. So Threads is still much bigger than Bluesky.
Recall that in November, the social network Bluesky, founded by former Twitter CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey, crossed the 16 million user mark. And in September, while Musk was arguing with Brazil about blocking X, Bluesky gained 1 million new users in three days . It should be noted here that the platform became fully available to users only in February of this year.
As for Threads, it was reported in October that the social network has about 100 million monthly active users.
