Microsoft has announced the appointment of Yevgeny Kaganovsky as director for Ukraine and the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania). The appointment is effective from January 2026. He replaces Leonid Polupan, who has decided to continue his career outside the company.
Microsoft has announced the appointment of Yevgeny Kaganovsky as director for Ukraine and the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania). The appointment is effective from January 2026. He replaces Leonid Polupan, who has decided to continue his career outside the company.
Kaganovsky's focus will be on strengthening cybersecurity, accelerating the adoption of secure cloud solutions, developing responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI), and expanding digital skills to support long-term economic growth.
Yevhen Kaganovsky holds a master's degree in law and economics from Kyiv National Economic University, as well as a master's degree in philology from Kyiv National Linguistic University. He has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector. Since joining Microsoft in 2019, Yevhen has held leadership positions in Customer Success
and Public Sector, and later served as Country Manager ad interim. In this role, he deepened partnerships in the region and ensured the continuity of digital infrastructure in the face of significant geopolitical and technological challenges.
