"Previously, the technical assessment of a product was directly related to the confirmation of the need by the state customer. If such a need was not identified or agreed upon, the product did not actually undergo codification, which slowed down the process and delayed the possibility of its procurement. The updated approach allows for the separation of technical assessment and procurement planning, which significantly accelerates the entry of new solutions into the defense products market," the Ministry of Defense explained .
