Artificial intelligence platform Pitch Avatar, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, has introduced an AI avatar named Robi. He will conduct mandatory introductory safety briefings for visitors to the RoboLab innovation laboratory, created at the Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (KNUCA).
Artificial intelligence platform Pitch Avatar, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, has introduced an AI avatar named Robi. He will conduct mandatory introductory safety briefings for visitors to the RoboLab innovation laboratory, created at the Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (KNUCA).
The project was launched in late 2025, and now the multi-lesson learning module is already available to the first students and researchers. This was reported to dev.ua by the Pitch Avatar company.
Before starting to work with robotic equipment at RoboLab, each visitor must undergo a mandatory briefing. Previously, this process was perceived as a formality, so the developers decided to turn it into an interactive format. The RoboLab team created Robi’s appearance, voice, and movements, and Pitch Avatar specialists adapted the training materials into structured scenarios and presentations.
Because the avatar is interactive, users can ask questions and receive instant answers in the chat right during the broadcast. In addition to providing instruction, the Pitch Avatar platform collects student engagement analytics for RoboLab: it records who completed the training, which questions were asked most often, and at what stages the audience’s attention waned. This allows the project team to improve the training materials.
