Wild Hornets Showcase Launch of STING Interceptor Drones from Magura Sea Drones

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has been using STING interceptor drones for a long time, launching them directly from naval unmanned boats in the open sea.
This was reported by the developers of the Wild Hornets community. According to them, the MV11 carrier drone is used to transport and launch drones into the sea.
The interceptor copters are launched directly from a launch box installed on board a naval boat. This was made possible by the use of Hornet Vision CTRL technology, which provides remote launch from various types of surfaces and equipment.
«Remote launch is possible anywhere — from a field, forest, water, or any mobile platform. In this case, simply from a box on board a seagoing vessel,» the organization noted.
Seen @uforce_global 's new MV11? It carries our STING interceptors — launched straight from a sea drone. Just like with Hornet Vision CTRL — launch location can be anywhere: field, forest, water, any moving platform.
The released video shows how the STING interceptor drones are installed in special closed containers on top of the MV11 drone. At the right moment, the lids of the boxes open and release the interceptors.
The MV11 marine drone was designed to operate in open ocean conditions, not just coastal waters. The device is capable of carrying a payload of up to 2,200 kg and staying autonomously at sea for up to seven days. According to the manufacturer, the vessel will function as a mobile base: it will launch, refuel and equip other unmanned systems far from the coast. In addition, the drone can perform reconnaissance, surveillance and support landing operations.
