«Ukrainians are increasingly spending money on Telegram, according to monobank. Payment volumes have increased more than fourfold — from about UAH 7 million in June 2024 to over UAH 30 million in October 2025. Although total spending on YouTube remains higher, it is Telegram that demonstrates the fastest and most noticeable growth dynamics,» the publication notes.
Meanwhile, the number of subscribers to Ukrainian channels on the social network has increased by 676% since 2021: thus, in four years, the Ukrainian Telegram audience has grown 7.7 times.
As for the concentration of Telegram channels in different regions of the country, the largest number of them is in the Kyiv region (1,659 channels), followed by the Dnipropetrovsk region (914) and the Odesa region (701).
The study also notes that Ukrainian businesses actively use Telegram as a communication channel, and approximately 60% of business channels have official verification from the platform.
Among the largest advertisers of native advertising is the Telegram channel Rozetka, and in Telegram Ads, Rozetka, Times of Ukraine, and Ukraine Online are the leaders.
In the «Economy» and «Finance» categories, monobankbot is the absolute leader, as the «Hunting for Lemons» campaign added 614,646 active users per month.
Among the political figures with the most views on Telegram, President Volodymyr Zelensky is the undisputed leader — over 16.2 billion views, or 68,2% in this segment. This is twice as many as all other figures from the political top 15 combined.
Meanwhile, according to Telegram founder Pavel Durov, the decentralized confidential computing network Cocoon has already launched, which will result in expanded functionality for Telegram itself.
