In the Kharkiv region, the SBU detained a Russian agent who registered 27 Starlink terminals for the occupiers

According to the investigation, the enemy planned to use this connection to coordinate assault groups and adjust drone strikes.

According to the investigation, the enemy planned to use this connection to coordinate assault groups and adjust drone strikes.
According to the SBU, the attacker turned out to be an unemployed immigrant from the temporarily occupied Khrustalne (formerly Krasny Luch), in the Luhansk region. The man was looking for "easy money" on Instagram, where representatives of the Russian special services came to him through an ad.
Having received instructions from the enemy, the detainee first registered the Starlink station in his own name and handed over the details to a curator from the occupied east of Ukraine. Later, when the curator instructed to expand the network, the defendant began to involve local residents in the verification of satellite equipment.
In addition to manipulations with communication terminals, the agent had another task - to track the coordinates of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine to prepare for enemy attacks.
For completing the tasks, the traitor was promised a monetary reward and "evacuation" to the occupied territory of Luhansk region. SBU officers detained the suspect at his place of residence in Izyum. During the searches, a smartphone with evidence of illegal activity was seized from him.
The perpetrator has already been informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law). He is currently in custody. The traitor faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
