The OLX Ukraine platform has launched an AI assistant for publishing ads. It will help users create more detailed descriptions and fill in product information.
The OLX Ukraine platform has launched an AI assistant for publishing ads. It will help users create more detailed descriptions and fill in product information.
The new AI tool will initially work in the "Fashion and Style" category, which is one of the most popular on OLX, RBC-Ukraine reports .
Now, when adding an ad in this category, users only need to specify a title and upload a photo — artificial intelligence will do the rest. Analyzing the data, AI automatically generates a product description and offers to fill in key parameters, such as size, color, brand or condition.
Before the full launch, the function was tested on the web version of the platform and showed good results:
75% accuracy of artificial intelligence in selecting attributes in the ad;
52% of AI-generated descriptions were published without significant edits;
The average description length has increased by 20 characters, making ads more detailed and engaging.
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a bill on taxation of OLX, Prom, Rozetka, LUN, Kabanchik.ua, as well as online taxi services. It is expected to be submitted to the Rada soon.
