“They tell us, ‘You’re not selling tomatoes, you’re selling weapons.’” TAF Industries CEO explains why the creation of joint ventures with German partners has slowed down

CEO of TAF Industries Volodymyr Zinovsky noted that the launch of joint ventures with German partners was somewhat slowed down due to bureaucratic procedures, but expressed hope that the issue would be resolved within the next month.
Volodymyr Zinovskyi told about this in a comment to dev.ua.
«Returning to the issue of our German JVs (joint ventures — Ed.) — they are at the stage of final agreements with DSEK (State Service for Export Control — Ed.) and the formation of documentation to obtain all the necessary permits. We hoped that it would be a little faster, but they tell us — you are not trading tomatoes, but still weapons. We are a little stuck on the issue of processing all the necessary documents, but we really hope that in the next month we will be able to complete this process and begin the direct activities of our joint venture,» Volodymyr Zinovsky commented.
According to the CEO of TAF Industries, a number of foreign companies are interested in launching a partnership, but the Ukrainian deftech manufacturer would first like to finalize existing agreements.
«There is a large pool of companies that want to partner with us, but in order not to lose focus, we want to first launch those tracks that have already started,» he made it clear.
In April, it also became known that Ukrainian defense company TAF Industries and German manufacturer THYRA GmbH will jointly produce interceptor drones in Germany.
