Next year, 70% of UAVs for the army will be purchased through DOT Chain Defense. Why is this being done?
In 2026, about 70% of the procurement of unmanned aerial vehicles for the Ukrainian army is planned to be carried out through the DOT Chain Defence digital platform.
In 2026, about 70% of the procurement of unmanned aerial vehicles for the Ukrainian army is planned to be carried out through the DOT Chain Defence digital platform.
This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Havrylyuk during one of the events, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reports .
According to Havrylyuk, today there are more than 500 manufacturers of unmanned systems in Ukraine, and the growth in production and expansion of the range of weapons creates threats of corruption risks.
He added that in response to these risks, the Ministry of Defense is decentralizing procurement, in particular through the DOT Chain Defence digital platform, which prevents the intervention of intermediary structures.
The Deputy Minister stated that the average order fulfillment time through the platform is up to two weeks.
Recall that earlier the Ministry of Defense explained the step-by-step algorithm for obtaining equipment under the «Drone Army Bonus» program through DOT-Chain Defence.
Also, a rating and feedback system has appeared in the state marketplace DOT-Chain Defence: military units can now rate ordered UAVs and share their experience of using them in combat.
