SwiftUI developer Yaroslav Sherstyuk announced on his LinkedIn page the launch of beta testing of UkropSync. This is an autonomous system that solves several critical problems for soldiers in the field: transferring tags between devices, creating a common battle picture for units, and controlling data even without a constant connection to the Internet.
«2025. The 11th year of the war. And we are still sending coordinates, photos and positions via messengers? Seriously? Enough! It’s dangerous and outdated. Our team is launching UkropSync — a combat tool for synchronizing the situation. No „clouds“, no extra eyes. Only our own. Deploys in your unit, works quickly and clearly,» Yaroslav wrote in his post.
The service acts as an intermediary between TacticMap users and allows for automatic synchronization of created markers, positions, and other combat objects. It also supports local server installation, meaning that a unit can fully control and access the infrastructure without the risk of third-party interference.
Main features of UkropSync:
Automatic data synchronization between devices within the same account.
Creating a common tactical picture in a group or unit.
Full offline work with changes transferred only after connection is restored.
Encryption and flexible access control to all information.
To join the testing, you need to contact the development team via messengers at +38 (093) 339 40 92 and provide your email. In response, the participant will receive an account, access to the test server, and will be added to the general layer with other testers.
What is TacticMap?
This is a popular map for applying and exchanging combat marks, which is actively used on the front lines. UkropSync became a logical continuation of this solution, allowing to make it even more effective and safe for coordinating actions in the combat zone.
By the way, we also have news about the creation of a register of prohibited software. The State Special Communications Service is currently in the final stages of implementing the relevant Cabinet resolution.
