«For me, this opportunity is a continuation of the path I began at the NATO Representation in Ukraine. At the TSU, I will be able to apply my experience in international cooperation and deep understanding of the security and defense sector of Ukraine to the benefit of the Ukrainian defense industry from within, strengthen the understanding of the principles of work of international partners and interaction with the state of Ukrainian manufacturers, and help them reach a new level,» Mishkina commented on her appointment.
Earlier, Kateryna Mykhalko, who has headed the TSU since the association’s creation in 2023, announced her resignation. She said that she will continue to work as the Director General of the European organization, which focuses on the systemic integration of drones into the EU security architecture.

At the NATO Mission to Ukraine, Anastasia Mishkina worked as a Senior Advisor in the Defense Advisory Support Section.
«I am completing my incredible 11-year journey in NATO in Ukraine. I am grateful to everyone I met and shared my time with at NATO, doing everything possible to help Ukraine develop and lead it to NATO,» Mishkina said last week.
At the NATO Mission in Ukraine, she worked with Ukrainian and international partners on the development of Ukraine’s defense sector. It is noted that Anastasia Mishkina worked on various defense topics, from civil service reform to defense procurement and interoperability.
