Logistics company Nova Poshta is warning Ukrainians about a new wave of fraud on social networks. Criminals are spreading fake job ads on behalf of the brand, trying to gain access to users' personal data and bank accounts.
The company’s press service reported this on its social networks. Nova Poshta emphasizes that these messages have no relation to the postal operator or any other company of the NOVA group.
Fraudsters illegally use corporate identity and copy the company logo to force users to click on malicious links. The company has identified several key signs by which you can recognize fake job offers.
In particular, promises of easy money, such as «working for likes» or «daily payments to a card» should arouse suspicion. In addition, attackers often offer an excessively flexible schedule without any obligations, demand payment for training, registration, or materials, and also try to redirect seekers to third-party Telegram bots.
«Nova Poshta employs exclusively officially and pays wages in accordance with the law. Our recruiters never ask for CVV codes, passwords, or access to online banking,» the company notes.
The NP emphasized that official vacancies of the NOVA group of companies are published exclusively on the corporate website, as well as on authorized job search portals Work.ua and Robota.ua. In case of detection of suspicious ads, users are advised not to click on the links and contact the hotline for prompt blocking of fraudulent resources.
Previously, Nova Poshta co-owner Volodymyr Popereshnyuk said that the shortage of personnel and the need to increase productivity are forcing the company to invest more actively in automation and robotization of processes.
