Fintech company NovaPay, which is part of the Nova group of companies along with Nova Poshta, has changed its CEO. Igor Syrovatko, a manager with over twenty years of experience in banking, e-commerce, and customer service, has become the CEO.

As the company announced on its NovaPay website, Syrovatko will focus on developing services for different categories of users (from private clients to businesses) and raising service standards to international levels. He replaces Andriy Kryvoshapko, whose contract ends in October.
During his career, Syrovatko went from the head of a banking department to the director of the network department at Universal Bank. His experience includes working with both retail clients and entrepreneurs. Later, at OLX, he headed the customer service department in Ukraine and Central Asia, where he was involved in the development of the B2B direction and the creation of teams for working with businesses.
At the end of August, dev.ua wrote that the CEO of NovaPay, Andriy Kryvoshapko, who recently left his position, would likely be replaced by a top manager from the online platform OLX. Which, in fact, happened.
In an interview published by the company, Syrovatko emphasized that he considers trust and efficiency to be the main task: financial instruments should «work for the client, not the other way around.»
The new CEO emphasized that he will develop NovaPay based on the company’s strengths — innovation, experienced team, and support from the Nova Group. Additionally, he plans to attract international expertise to integrate global best practices into Ukrainian fintech.
NovaPay is today the largest non-bank money transfer system in Ukraine and serves over 800 thousand clients. In a few years, the service, which began as an internal payment infrastructure for Nova Poshta, has turned into a separate financial player. The appointment of a new head indicates that the company is preparing for the next stage of growth and expansion of the range of services, including for the business segment.
