The Novator 2 °C armored medical evacuation vehicle, which the Ukrainian Armored Vehicles company introduced at the end of last year, is already being mass-produced and supplied to combat units.
As reported by Ukrainian Armored Vehicles, the armored vehicle was developed on the basis of the Novator armored personnel carrier. Its main purpose is the rapid evacuation of the wounded from combat zones or emergency situations, the provision of primary medical care, and the transportation of medical personnel.
The design of the armored vehicle provides, in particular, protection of the crew and the wounded from fire damage and harmful external factors in all weather conditions and on various types of terrain.
«The main task of the sanitary and evacuation „Novator 2 °C“ is to save lives. Thanks to its technical characteristics, the armored vehicle allows combat medics to reach the most difficult areas and quickly and safely evacuate the wounded. And the installation of special medical equipment allows for emergency assistance and stabilization of the condition of the wounded directly in the vehicle,» said Vladyslav Belbas, General Director of Ukrainian Armored Vehicles LLC.
«Novator 2 °C» has the ability to evacuate six wounded in a sitting position or four in a lying position. The armored car is equipped with a built-in place for transporting a lying patient, as well as folding (folding) shelves for evacuating wounded in various conditions. There is also space for installing modern medical equipment: a defibrillator, a ventilator, an oxygen system, vital signs monitors, etc. The layout of the «Novator 2 °C» allows for the integration of various options for medical equipment — according to the tasks and requirements of a specific unit. Such a car ensures rapid evacuation from «hot» points and provision of assistance on the road — thanks to the fixation of life support systems.
In addition, the company guarantees the safety of medical personnel, the driver, and the seriously injured — even under fire.
